We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we will be hosting the National Mermaiding Championships for the UK & Northern Europe on: 1st November 2026 BCP Poole Dolphin Leisure Centre, Poole, Dorset This prestigious event will be organised by Michelle Forsbrey, founder of UK Mermaid Academy (Mayim). Michelle previously hosted the Merlympics in 2018 and brings a wealth of experience as an international mermaid judge, coach, and academy owner. We are proud to announce that the 1st Mermaiding Nationals Slovenia 2026 will take place on October 17, 2026, at Kopališče Pristan in Maribor. The championship is organized by Institute ARABELLA, mermaid academy Slovenja vas, led by its founder Barbara Petek, an experienced international mermaiding judge who served at the Official Mermaiding Championships in Germany in 2019 and 2025. Driven by a shared passion for the sea and the art of mermaiding, Barbara brought together an inspiring team of mermaiding instructors — Taja Albolena and Taja Kovačič.
